I am seeking to return to employment involving animal care after many intervening years working in the NHS. I began my early career working in a boarding kennels for dogs, before running my own Pet Sitting business - Amanda's Animal Aunts. I then took a break from this whilst my children were small and then carried on with my NHS career. I currently now work 3 days a week
I am used to dealing with all breeds of dogs, I used to own Rottweilers. I lost my latest dog, my Labrador Russell, last year and now find I have a dog shaped hole in my life. I very much miss the walks and company of dogs and am seeking to gain part time work once again in animal care.
I set up my own Pet Sitting business in the local area. All pets cared for in their own homes whilst their owners were at work or on holiday. Mostly dog walking, cat care, with the occasional rabbit/guinea pig sitting. I kept owners updated throughout the daily activities of their pets.
