  • Supporting the director of property, land and commercial development in managing the Trust's landholdings across the country working as part of the Property Team, work is often sensitive and confidential requiring discretion.
  • Maintaining and developing professional relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a central link and helping align people and priorities.
  • Prepare clear internal and external communications including staff updates, stakeholder correspondence and project briefings.
  • Complete management of the director's calendar including all travel and accommodation arrangements, and submission of expenses.
  • Liaison with the Trust's Leadership Team and Board of Trustees.
  • Taking minutes for committee meetings, board meetings where necessary, and directors' meetings for the Trust's two subsidiary companies.

Project management

Head Office Workspace Design

Co-ordinated and managed the new head office tender process for workspace design and internal fit out. Organised and co-ordinated a collaborative working party group to help with key decisions. Curated a specification used by multiple stakeholders to ensure the new buildings' amenities infrastructure was suitable and future proofed to create an efficient and aesthetic working environment with high environmental standards and to promote staff wellbeing. Initiated and led a garden working party group to re-design the office grounds, with team members across the organisation to provide an outdoor space with visual appeal, environmental standards and areas to enhance wellbeing.

Record Management Re-organisation

Complete re-organisation of the Trust's record management system; tendered for an off-site storage facility to manage essential paper records, recruited and managed a records management administrator. The process has included the creation of efficient digital records of all the Trust's paperwork, including a comprehensive retention policy whilst adhering to legislation and GDPR.

  • Supporting the company's financial management accountant, I managed Blueberry Wave's Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger, both paper based and using Excel, Sage 50 and Project Management Software (Synergist).
  • Loaded supplier invoices onto Sage ready for payment with the correct nominal codes and purchase orders. Checked supplier statements and chased outstanding invoices.
  • Ensured all draft Sales Ledger invoices had been issued by Client Services Teams correctly and on time, ensured all finances were correct for both client and company accounting procedures.
  • Raised statements for clients. Create Aged Debtors reports for management using Sage and chased outstanding payments.
  • Supervised company expenses, credit cards and mileage. Ensuring amounts were correct and loaded to Sage in a timely manner ready for month end, adhering to HMRC VAT legislation.
  • Supported the financial management accountant with other day-to-day tasks including running an efficient accounts filing system. Provided cover for the office manager during holiday periods.
