Hi, I'm Ally, 31 years old and a lifelong animal lover. I'm lucky enough to share my life with three horses, two dogs, and a cat, and they've all taught me that caring for animals isn't just something I enjoy… it's part of who I am.
I've spent many years in hands-on roles working in equestrian yards, where dogs are just as much a part of the team as the horses. They become your best friends. tagging along to shows, greeting you every morning, and playing their own part in how the yard runs. It's that sense of connection and purpose I miss most since moving into my current reception role.
While I've gained useful organisational and people skills in the office, I've realised my heart belongs outdoors, making a difference in the daily lives of animals. That realisation hit me one day when I was sitting at my desk, watching the gardener working in the pouring rain and my first thought was, “I wish I was out there with him.” That was my sign it was time to make a change.
I'm no stranger to the hard work and mucky moments that come with animal care, and I take pride in being someone you can rely on, rain, shine, or anything in between. I'm physically fit, happy to work on my feet all day, and I enjoy being part of a team that gets stuck in together.
I'm ready to bring my reliability, strong work ethic, and genuine love for animals back into a role where I feel I truly matter. And if that comes with as many fluffy cuddles as I can handle, well… that's an added bonus!
