

I am a dedicated, hard working and compassionate Staff Nurse Working within the Northern Trust since October 2024 on a high acuity respiratory Medical ward. Involved in the delivery of safe, patient- centred care to acutely unwell patients with complex respiratory and medical conditions. I am developing clinical skills with growing experience in the recognition of deterioration in patients and escalating concerns appropriately.
I am currently building competence in respiratory nursing skills including oxygen therapy, use of NEWS2, Non invasive ventilation NIV support, Chest Physiotherapy assistance, sepsis recognition and airway management.
I work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team, growing on time management completing priorities in a fast paced environment, maintaining high standards and adhering to infection prevention, encouraging independence and preserving patient dignity.
I am keen for new experiences and opportunities within various Trusts and Organisations to gain further knowledge, while advocating for patients when most vulnerable, ensuring their voices, safety and dignity remain at the centre of care. Fulfilling my passion for Nursing.
I am a staff Nurse on a high acuity medical ward at the Causeway Hospital. This is the second year working as part of a team in delivering high quality and safe evidence based nursing care to patients with complex and acute medical needs. The role is to work alongside the multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate personalised care, ensuring dignity, safety and comfort for each patient in care.

My role as a Staff nurse means being at the frontline of Acute patient care, ensuring early recognition of deterioration, delivering complex interventions and supporting recovery with professionalism, empathy and clinical excellence.
I studied 3 years Full time as undergraduate leading to professional registration as Registered Nurse (Adult) within Nursing and Midwifery council (NMC) at Magee Campus Londonderry.
This degree learned students knowledge and skills and behaviours expected and required to deliver high quality, evidence based nursing across range of health care settings including, hospital, community, Acute care Elderly care and Rehabilitation.

I worked at Praxis Care, as a mental health support worker, the key role within my position was delivering compassionate, person centred care to individuals with ill mental health, learning disabilities, Dementia, Brain injuries and complex needs.
