Summary

I am an experienced and dedicated Head of PE with 18 years experience. A track record of leading successful departments and delivering high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. Highly experienced GCSE and A-Level Physical Education teacher, alongside KS3 Geography. A strong focus on achieving excellent student outcomes and fostering a positive learning environment for all.

An effective and highly organised middle leader with extensive experience in curriculum development, staff support, and departmental improvement. I have demonstrated strong line management skills, including mentoring colleagues, performance management, dealing with difficult staff members and leading teams to achieve shared goals.

As a tutor and some Head of Year experience I have a strong understanding of the pastoral side of education, with a commitment to student wellbeing, behaviour management, safeguarding, and creating an inclusive school culture. Recognised for building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents, while maintaining high expectations and supporting students both academically and personally.

Beyond the classroom I am a mum to two boys, 6&8. We love the outdoors, especially ski holidays. My time outside of the classroom is all about my family and traveling the world with them.
