Summary

A successful care business owner, company director, and dedicated community advocate with 40 years of deep roots in the local area. Alongside running a thriving residential care business, I work tirelessly as Co-Chair of the local Care Association to champion the social care sector, drive regional funding, and build stronger working pathways with health boards. I am deeply passionate about meaningful advocacy, actively promoting the Veteran Friendly Framework in care homes and celebrating frontline workers through the Proud to Care Awards. A university graduate with a degree in Ancient History and Archaeology, a mother of three, and a keen follower of history and politics, I bring a unique blend of business acumen, empathy, and leadership. Grounded by a love for my community and a desire to make a lasting difference.
