I was rotating in different departments such as General Surgery, General Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Paediatrics for 3 months each, as a part of my mandatory house job, following medical school. This is equivalent to Foundation year 1 and 2 in the UK. It is mandatory for every doctor graduating from Pakistan in order to pursue a career in Medicine.
