Summary

I am an accomplished musician and passionate music educator with extensive experience in performance, accompaniment and teaching. I trained as a scholar at leading London colleges and schools and have performed at prestigious venues such as Wigmore Hall, the Royal Opera House, the Purcell Room and the London Coliseum, as well as internationally in Georgia, Russia, Sweden, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. With over 20 years’ experience teaching in both the state and private sectors, I have successfully guided pupils through graded examinations and scholarship auditions, achieving excellent outcomes. Many of my students have gone on to build meaningful and sustained musical lives and continue to engage with music at a high level. I naturally develop positive rapport with every pupil and tailor lessons to suit each child’s age, ability and musical interests; my teaching is often described as inspiring, encouraging and confidence‑building. I am a confident sight reader and take great pleasure in accompanying school concerts, choirs, ABRSM examinations, services and productions. Highly collaborative by nature, I work well with colleagues and parents and am committed to contributing to a vibrant and ambitious music programme. I am now seeking new challenges and opportunities to expand my experience in a fresh professional environment.
