Great little orchestra project

- The Great Little Orchestra Project was an opportunity to develop musical skills and provide musical education to those with special educational needs. The workshop took place over a week, with sessions on disability advocacy and on how to include as many people as possible in music. We then went to Oakfield Specialist School and used the skills developed in the workshops to design musical sessions and performances for the children.

- I taught one-on-one beginner flute lessons to the daughter of a family friend. I designed sessions to keep the student engaged and to help her work towards achieving her Grade One flute. I strove to keep the student motivated by using her interests in certain areas of music to develop her skills.
