• I was deputy safe guarding lead for 3 years. In this role one day in the heads absence I was required to report a disclosure and work with social services and the police.

• During my time at Bassett I ran regular information workshops for early years parents and fostered strong professional links with parents.
• Took part in parent-teacher meetings discussing pupil progress and potential areas for improvement.
• Created inclusive classroom setting to ensure all students felt accepted and valued.
• Adapted teaching methods and materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
• Tailored homework assignments according to individual student ability level, increased understanding of complex concepts.

I took this time out from teaching as my husband had been diagnosed with a brain tumour and had to undergo lengthy treatment.
