Summary

I am a hard worker and have a strong passion for working with young children and babies in a team. I have always wanted to work with babies from a young age and sought babysitting jobs, which led me to choose a degree in Early Childhood studies.

During my time in a nursery setting and my studies, I became proficient in early years knowledge and am adept at implementing the EYFS and development matters framework into daily activities and engagements with toddlers and babies.

Whilst teaching in South Korea, I strived to create a fun and comfortable learning atmosphere for students who didn't know a single word of English. This aided their language acquisition through providing a pressure-free environment where they could confidently interact with myself and their fellow students in a brand new language. I paid special care to providing new, exciting and inclusive activities for all of the students to enjoy.

Through my years of work, I have become experienced in addressing special educational needs, with a commitment to fostering inclusive environments that promote holistic child development.

I am highly motivated, and while my knowledge of policies might be out of date at present, I am working to refresh it since returning from South Korea. I love learning new skills and information, and have always enjoyed participating in staff development classes.
