The project focused on investigating arsenic level in rice, globally imported to U.K. Developed in-depth knowledge of literature searching, techniques applied were chromatography with LC-ICPMS system., Conducted a project to determine nitrate levels in Aberdeen Sea water under the supervision of Dr Zachary Hickman in laboratory at the Institute of Biological & Environmental Sciences, University of Aberdeen. Spectrometric and chromatographic techniques were applied in this research work.
• Master Research Project, Institute of Horticultural Sciences, University of Agriculture Faisalabad, 09/00 - 09/02, The Research work aimed to investigate the effect of rooting hormones on stem cuttings of rose species., A laboratory scale research project focused to extract rose oil from different rose varieties to use in cosmetics and medicine. Techniques used were turbo hydrodistillation, supercritical CO2 & compressed air.
