I am currently a student who is looking to gain some experience and work alongside my college hours. I attend college 3 days a week and my hobbies and interests involve weightlifting, boxing, socialising with my friends and spending time with family. I believe I have always been a hardworking and outgoing person and am eager to gain more experience in the customer service sector.
My job and role as a paper delivery operative was to collect the papers first thing and ensure they reached the in perfect condition. This role really helped develop my time keeping skills at a young age and also showed dedication. I had deadlines to meet with a set timescale and ensured daily papers were delivered within assigned delivery slots.
Whilst working at the Hoptimist , my role was to greet customers, maintain a tidy and clean workspace and take payments. I enjoyed serving customers and meeting new people-which positively impacted my social skills.
In my time with DMS, I gained a lot of experience, undergoing many different tasks within the building trade. For example, taping and jointing, joinery, plaster boarding, brickwork, drainage work. This role helped further develop my personal skills, practice good time keeping and provide valuable life skills.
