I feel i would be a valuable member of the team within the Chipperfield garden centre as i am reliable, dedicated and have great communication skills. With these assets i also have a great sense of humour which is important for morale within the team and customers.

I have leadership skills which is demonstrated in all the team sports i take part in.

I believe my personality is a great asset which would give me the right tools to fulfil a role within the garden centre.

I feel i am flexible, hardworking and able to adapt and manage situations well.

I have good IT skills and wouldnt be fazed by any IT tasks.

Job overview

In the summer of 2022 at the age of 14 i wanted to earn money and help the community in my area whilst i was on my summer break from school.


I posted leaflets around the village which became very successful. Throughout the summer i watered plants, fed and cared for pets also assisted with a house celebration.


This job has given me the opportunity to gain responsibility, enabling me to become a young responsible boy and improve with my communication skills with the general public.

Communication - I have gained effective communication skills arranging jobs within the community


Organisation Skills - I have gained my organisation skills by ensuring i book jobs correctly During my revision i have improved with organising my work to enable my revision to be more effective


Punctuality and Reliability - Since year 4 i have had the responsibility of ensuring i get to and from school independently and have been reliable to all my customers
