I am a motivated and results-driven sales professional with experience across a range of roles that have strengthened my communication, teamwork and problem solving skills. In customer facing environments, I thrive, and I enjoy building trust and relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
I am highly confident in my abilities to understand clients needs, present solutions and contribute positively to team targets. My strong work ethic and adaptability allow me to perform well in fast paced work environments.
With an acute interest in technology and computer systems, I bring both technical understanding and a continuous desire to learn, allowing me to confidently engage with customers and provide informed solutions, tailored to their situations.
Since starting my employment with Currys, it has sparked my desire for selling products and services that I am truly passionate and knowledgeable about.
After only one month of being with the company, I started to consistently finish with the best performance in the store each week, even being among the top 100 colleagues in the company for selling added services. I achieve this by being persistent and staying motivated throughout every sale, while also being genuinely interested in the customers situation, and finding ways in which I can adapt my pitch to each customer who walks through the door.
This role taught me that the most important thing in sales is catering every interaction to the customers needs to build trust and ensure that they are satisfied and will return again.
In this role it was my duty to ensure that all products for sale were of adequate quality and were fit for sale. This involved thoroughly examining each product's date code and conducting inspections to guarantee customer satisfaction. in order to meet the management teams expectations, I had to work efficiently and uphold strict timing for each task.
I also received commendations from my management team and a company commendation for my service to a particular customer, visible on the retail portal at that time.
After working in a pharmacy environment for the previous year, I felt as though it was time to move on.
Within this role, I worked on produce, filling and also doing routines, such as reductions and charity donations, and waste procedures.
I however, was not satisfied with this, so I completed a range of training to be able to work in 5 other areas of the store, such as the frozen foods section.
During my employment at Tesco, I became good friends with many of my colleagues, which helped create a friendly atmosphere when working.
This was my first experience working in a professional healthcare environment, I received training on how to deal with patients and customers who come into the shop, and how to withstand their negative comments when something does not go their way.
Due to my performance and my professional conduct during my work experience, this secured me a position in the pharmacy, employed doing the role I excelled at in my work experience.
I was taught many skills such as communication, teamwork and working under pressure.
I was mentored by my colleagues and my boss in order to further my standard of work.
At Currys, I am frequently in 'top squad', a scheme for the top 1000 colleagues that rewards high performance in sales and added services.
