I am 17 years old and presently studying A-levels, I am a hard worker, good team worker and keen to learn. At at Dame Allan's Schools i was elected Deputy Captain of school house in 2023, previously Form Captain in 2021. Currently serving as sixth form Prefect, providing guidance to GCSE students. Experience in rugby and football have helped enhancing my active listening and communication skills and developed strong communication abilities through participation in academic clubs and work placements.
3 days shadowing a Newcastle Crown Court Duty Solicitor. I observed various court room situations for example progressions of cases, hearings and a sentencing. I also had the opportunity to speak in court as I was addressed by a judge.
2 day placement working with the HR department.
I learnt about the laws and regulations that human resource managers work within, recruitment and contracts.
3 day placement working in their marketing department.
I learnt about the company's social media promotion and the things they do to attract customers and promote the business.
I love sport, watching and participating with my personal favourites being rugby, football and kickboxing. I have represented my school's 1st team for both football and rugby and reached the semi-final of the under 15 National Vase rugby competition in 2022. I also practice kick boxing at Felling Warriors, like to cook, travel, watch films and listen to music.
Sport and my physical wellbeing are important to me, I believe you should maintain your fitness and take care of your body physically and mentally as neglecting it will have a direct effect on your personal and work life.
