My name is Alfie Brown I live in Plymouth I have autism and adhd with a sensory processing disorder that makes me more sensitive to touch and other things that touch my skin I’ve had a passion for animals ever since I can remember and enjoyed watching a show called deadly sixty with the host being Steve Backshaw. I have experienced a lot, people of my age wouldn’t dream of having. I did work experience at the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth when I was 14 then I did Ocean Squad which was also held at the aquarium, it was a full week of fun summer activities and I did this over multiple summers which helped me overcome my depression.

  • I help the public with information of each different exhibit and animals
  • I also help and assist in back of house tour in the Aquarium
  • I’m able to help with activities at the aquarium like ocean Todd’s taking care of kids under the age of 12 and rock pool safaris and boat trips
  • Conducted regular patrols of park grounds to monitor environmental conditions and visitor safety.
  • Enforced park regulations to protect natural resources and ensure visitor safety, issuing warnings and fines when required.
  • Led educational tours for visitors, imparting knowledge on local ecosystems and conservation efforts.
