Flight instructor

ACS Flight Training
Perth, Perth and Kinross
07.2025 - Current

Deliver high-quality ground and flight instruction to aspiring pilots, ensuring students develop the knowledge and skills required to achieve their training objectives. Promoting a strong safety culture and discipline while preparing students for theoretical examinations and practical skill tests. Promoted to Deputy PPL CFI in June. In this role, I support day-to-day management of the instructional team, provide guidance to colleagues, and assist in maintaining the efficient delivery of training operations. This position has enabled me to further develop my leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.

Karate instructor and referee

Kanzen Karate Scotland
Dundee, Dundee City
01.2022 - 03.2026

As an instructor with Kanzen, I planned and delivered structured classes to students age 4-7, fostering discipline, confidence, and respect in a safe environment. I coached students at regional and national competitions, and also served as a referee. I would prepare athletes to perform under pressure, encouraging good sportsmanship and focus as a coach, and as a referee, being able to make accurate, split-second decisions under pressure, and applied competition rules fairly. This sport taught me discipline, respect and resilience, which I now implement in my work life.

Barista and Waitress

The Landmark Hotel
Dundee, Dundee City
10.2024 - 11.2025

Through this role, I developed strong interpersonal, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Working efficiently as a team, under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, whilst maintaining high standards of professionalism. Alongside providing attentive customer service, I managed multiple priorities during busy periods, built rapport with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, and trained and supported new team members.
