Affiliations

  • I am Team Manager for my son's rugby team and First Aider for them. This role involves lots of weekend travel and fundraising which I really enjoy. I also enjoy reading for pleasure, and spending time with friends and family. I eagerly anticipate our summer holidays each year and have recently visited Romania and Bulgaria.

Accomplishments

In 2023 I received SSAT Lead Practitioner accreditation which shows I have widened my reach beyond my school and worked with others. This included work with another local school helping them to deliver A level French, as well as working with trainees from Liverpool John Moores University from all subject areas placed in our school.

I received the NPQML in 2021 completing a project on Change Management for the final submission and this year I have completed the NPQLTD with the final submission being a case study and my recommendations for improvement. I eagerly anticipate the outcome of this award.

I have been a First Aider for 3 Years

In 2023-2024 I was honoured to work on a whole school programme of Formative Assessment as Coach which I really enjoyed and I learned a lot from about whole school practice.

In 2022 I was awarded the Goethe Institut German Teacher Award with recommendation from my Headteacher for my work both in and outside of the classroom
