Alexander Stovold

I have a strong academic background in mathematics, including an A in A-level Mathematics and a First-Class HNC in Mathematics at the University of Plymouth equivalent to the first year of university study. I am currently a part-time undergraduate student with the Open University, working towards a Bachelor’s degree while gaining practical experience alongside my studies.

Alongside my academic work, I have professional experience in a customer-facing role as a Tesco cashier, where I worked with a diverse range of individuals, developed clear communication skills, and demonstrated reliability, accuracy, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

I am highly numerate, organised, and patient, with a genuine passion for mathematics and supporting others in their learning. I am particularly motivated to work with students, helping to build confidence and understanding in mathematics
