work experience
- helped my uncle (Ian Marshall) who is a RAF engineer and holds a PPL, prepare the aircraft which is a piper Cherokee at farnborough airport and we did touch and go's for about an hour
I have had several hours on light aircraft such as a piper Cherokee ,sky ranger and yak 54 I have understood from shows like air crash investigation and qualified pilots that I've seen and know that skills such as being calm, communicating properly, situational awareness and crew resource management are all incredibly important skills which I have implemented into my daily life to prepare my self for becoming a pilot. I have an impeccable behaviour record at school where I have never had a detention or been sent out which shows that I am hard working and do not get distracted when working. I am enormously passionate about commercial aviation where I am borderline obsessed about it so I know some procedural exercises, I know how the aircraft works and I know where the industry is going such as hydrogen fuel, the rolls Royce ultra fan and different aircraft designs such as The Boeing truss braced wing as the industry is moving away from quad jets like the 747 and a380 towards efficient twin engine planes like the 777X and a350
