  • Some of my duties working as a sales assistant for Sports Direct involved processing and replenishing stock ensuring that the correct number of products were on display. As well as this I had to ensure that the prices of each individual product/item were correct and always updated.
  • As well as these duties, I was also present to answer any questions or queries from customers, give recommendations for certain items and provide details about products.

  • My duties as a Barista working at Costa Coffee included:
  • Preparing and Serving customers
  • Taking orders
  • Cash Handling and taking payments via Card
  • Create a vast array of Coffee beverages which included Cappuccino, Espresso (Single & Double), Latte, Flat White and other drinks following allergen advice from specific customers.
  • I also made and prepared other beverages which included cold drinks such as Juices and Teas.
  • I would assist my colleague in opening and closing the establishment. In the mornings when I Would start I would put the banners outside.
  • Customers would expect me to answer any questions or queries they had about any items that Costa sold, so I would answer these to the best of my knowledge with politeness and courteousness and with great customer service.
  • In terms of the stock and inventory, I would ensure that all items that are used by customers were available and if not replenished. These include Napkins, Straws and other supplies.
  • One of the most important things that I had to undertake as a Barista at Costa Coffee was adhering and complying with the Health & Safety Regulations which included Food Safety and Hygiene practices

  • Having to maintain cleanliness standards by ensuring the shop floor was clean, adequately stocked and that all the displays were organised.
