  • My main tasks included tracking slow lorises during night shifts and monitoring their behaviour using thermal cameras, preparing equipment, maintenance and safety, observation, focal data sampling, and recording the data gathered from the shifts in Excel.
  • I also carried out extra-curricular activities with the local community which included tree planting, teaching English at local schools and attending their graduation ceremonies and educating local school children about LFP research, slow lorises and the environment.
  • LFP is the world’s longest running slow loris conservation project and aims to learn more about all loris species and educate local communities to encourage conservation and environmental sustainability.
