Summary

Project Management

My experience in project management utilising both Agile and Waterfall methodologies has equipped me with the skills and expertise to lead diverse projects and deliver tangible results in dynamic and evolving environments. Within the IT landscape I have also adopted the ITIL framework to ensure a holistic approach of synergising how the IT systems of the organisation help maximise potential and profitability. I am committed to leveraging the appropriate project management approach to drive project success and exceed organizational objectives.

Team Leadership

With over 6 years of experience in managing teams I have had to develop many skillsets such as listening and understanding of what the team needs and when. Time management and organisation skills are imperative to ensure that people are pushed when required but also supported in order to get the most out of them. From managing small to medium sized teams of

5-20 people I have always tried to maintain a streamlined approach whether it be understanding when to delegate and when to lead by example. Striking this balance can be difficult but with experience I feel this is one of my strengths that allows me to manage effectively within a very challenging environment. Having confidence in my ability of being able to explain the reasons behind why tasks must be done in a certain way can ensure that the team works cohesively to get whatever task done to the highest of standards.

Infrastructure Management

I am directly responsible for the running, maintenance and development of the current IT and telephony systems in place at Voicentric Ltd. This involves having a thorough and detailed understanding of how the systems work across the entire company.

Relationship Management

Having a good client relationship is imperative to any successful company and managing those relationships can be very challenging, especially when some suppliers or vendors may not be delivering to the standards that as a business you need to in order to be successful. I believe over the years I have demonstrated a good balance in being able to effectively manage relationships between the company and 3rd parties.

People development and Training

Development of staff and understanding strengths and weaknesses is very important when being able to run a department. Having that level of trust amongst colleagues is imperative to know whether or not a task is going to be done to the standard required. I believe that I am very experienced in being able to understand these qualities and how to either push people on to excel or step back and improve. This can be done by effectively communicating where someone may be lacking in certain areas and suggesting ways that you yourself may have chosen to do something or encouraging them to try new ways of doing things in areas that they may be very comfortable in.

Budget Management

Working within budgets and understanding the resources that are either available or required mean that projects and day-to-day operations can be carried out effectively. I feel that within my role I have demonstrated a very good understanding of how to manage this effectively and not let it affect the overall quality of the work I have delivered.

Change Management

When implementing various projects of the IT roadmap, gearing the organisation up to allow for change is something that I have had to gain extensive experience in. Change management demands careful attention as introductions to new technologies can be difficult for a company to grapple with so getting buy in from various stakeholders and allowing for as little disruption as possible is very important.

Providing analysis on current work or producing data to support tasks or projects is very important when it comes to communication of what is going on within the company to give people correct information for making informed decisions. Within my role I am in constant communication with the Board of directors to keep them up to date with IT developments and analytical data that are used when running the company.

IS Implementation

Throughout my career, I have played a pivotal role in implementing cybersecurity procedures and protocols to safeguard organisational assets and ensure compliance with industry standards including Cyber essentials and ISO270001. My expertise in cybersecurity spans across various domains, including risk management, threat mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
