Summary

I have been a Primary school teacher for 23 years in a variety of settings, culminating in 10 and a half years at Stickney CE Primary in Lincolnshire. I have been an outstanding practitioner throughout this time, working in the crucible that is Year 6 with responsibility for KS2 SATs, as well as leading key Curriculum areas such as Maths and Science. I have produced and directed plays, lead residentials and run a variety of after school clubs as well as the many duties and responsibilities that are part and parcel of the job.

Many of the children, and their parents, who have been taught by me consider their time in Year 6 with me to have been the most formative and engaging of their education, and I continue to privately tutor a number of these in Maths and English as they prepare for their GCSEs.

Unfortunately my time in teaching appears to have come to an end and I am enthusiastic to start afresh in a new industry, bringing my experiences and talents to bear as at first a team member and then in a more senior role.
