I am a high school student who has just finished my GCSE’s and am a above average student predicted to achieve Grade 7s,8s and 9s.
Applying to John G Plummer's seems to be the best company to gain work experience as I really like how this practise is friendly and focuses on making patients feel comfortable(which has been my own experience as a patient here myself); everyone deserves to feel confident in their smile. It also seems like a great opportunity to gain insight into the roles I enjoy and make me certain this is the career I will pursue in the future. I am eager to learn and hopefully will quickly pick up on how to assist and be a useful asset to the team.
I believe what sets me apart from others is my dedication to working hard and challenging myself, such as during GCSE’s where I would commit to revision even if it involved early mornings and late nights. I am also a very positive person in times of stress and difficulty, which I think is a useful skill in a setting such as a dentist where patients often feel scared or in pain. My GCSE’s and chosen A level subjects also demonstrate my skills as I really enjoy mathematics, a subject that involves problem solving by finding the quickest solution in the most efficient way possible, and I am choosing to continue it at A-level.
