Experience as Security Engineer Apprentice:
During my time as an apprentice, I've improved my work routine and knowledge as well as experience dealing with hands on tasks. I've gone through a wide variety of training, both online and in person courses, to make sure I work safely and efficiently. I have also been attending college at Banham Academy to get my FESS qualification.
Work experience at KCC Lullingstone Country Park:
During my week of work experience, I undertook a variety of tasks and discovered how comfortable I felt in the work environment, and particularly enjoyed using the KCC computer systems to order stock and log deliveries. Using these systems, I had to pay attention to detail as stock levels in the shop were very important and have to be accurately logged. The staff member who was training me noticed how quickly I picked up using the systems, commenting on how competent I was operating a computer. I enjoyed the different aspects of the work experience and it gave me satisfaction to know that I had done a good of the things I was asked to do. Working as part of a team was a very positive experience for me and I enjoyed the variety of tasks.
