• Worked closely with nephrology consultants to decide on initiation and modality of hemodialysis for AKI/advanced CKD.

General Surgery

• Managed OPD cases independently, including wound care, abscess drainage, and minor procedures such as excision of lipomas, sebaceous cysts, and ingrown toenails.
• Assisted and scrubbed in elective procedures such as inguinal hernia repair, incisional hernia repair, esophagectomy, Whipple’s procedure, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, and hydatid cyst removal.
• Scrubbed in emergency laparotomies for cases such as perforated gut, appendicular abscess,intestinal obstruction, and blunt abdominal trauma.

Civil Emergency Department

• Actively managed emergency cases, stabilizing critically ill patients and initiating appropriate treatment.
• Performed rapid assessments to rule out life-threatening conditions and determine appropriate interventions.

• Performed bedside procedures such as venipuncture or IV placement and passing Foley's with minimal complications.
