  • Welsh Ambulance Service, Community First Responder, 2017-09, 2019-10, Responding to 999 calls in Caerphilly and surrounding areas in own car on behalf of Ambulance Service
  • St John Ambulance, Event Paramedic/Unit Clinical Lead, 2022-07, Present, Support unit training of volunteers of all clinical grades. Enabling and coordinating the onboarding of new healthcare professionals into the organization. Acting as Clinical Lead on events, providing medical leadership to all patient facing volunteers.
  • St John Ambulance, District Community Response Officer/District Event Officer, 2022-12, 2024-05, Acting as project lead for Birmingham Night-Time Economy, ensuring week by week running and leadership. As well as acting as Operational Commander, liaising with partner agencies, including police while utilising JESIP. Liaising with customers (Arcadian & OPCC) and development of a team of Operational Managers., Acting as the lead within the district for Restart a Heart 2023, making the district the most successful in the country.
  • St John Ambulance, District Event Lead, 2024-05, Present, Acting as lead for planning of events within the West Midlands District and providing leadership to my team of volunteers within the events team. Ensuring all events are adequately staffed and liaison with other functions to ensure ambulances and logistical equipment is provided.
  • St John Ambulance, County Operations Lead, May 2025 - July 2026. Provided strategic leadership for St John Ambulance operations across the West Midlands county, overseeing the safe, effective and patient-centred delivery of services at events of varying scale. Leading and coordinating operational teams, resources and assets; and work collaboratively with county, regional and national volunteers and staff to ensure compliance with operational standards. As a member of the County St John Council, I contributed to strategic decision-making, champion the volunteer voice and promoting a resilient, inclusive and sustainable operational culture

Carole Petty Award – Mar 2022 – West Midlands Ambulance Service - Letter of commendation from Emergency Services Operational Delivery Director for achieving a successful resuscitation on a Paediatric patient while solo-crewed prior to any other resource arriving. Above and beyond what would be expected.
