Strategic & Operational Management

• Lead the College’s overall sports strategy, balancing high performance with student wellbeing across sport, culture, and academics.
• Manage full operational logistics for all sporting codes, including multi-sport budgets, equipment stock control, facility usage, and weekly fixture planning.
• Collaborate with Prep School leadership to build seamless player development and coaching pathways from junior to senior levels.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage coaching staff, ensuring strict safeguarding and compliance for all external coaches.

Festival & Event Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of the annual Oakhill Sports Festivals (Hockey, Netball, and Water Polo).
• Direct all festival logistics, including visiting school entries, budgeting, venue setup, medical/first aid provision, catering, and umpire allocations.

MIC Water Polo & Hockey

• Direct the Water Polo and Hockey programmes for all College age groups, designing training sessions, fixtures, and pre-season/holiday camps.
• Manage transparent team selections, mentor players and coaches, and officially record 1st team caps and results.
• Coordinate with ground staff for facility prep and manage all sport-specific equipment inventory.

Administration & Communication

• Manage all whole-school sports communications across Prep and College, including weekly planners, fixture letters, and app calendar updates.
• Compile weekly sports achievements for school assemblies and design scoring systems/programmes for Inter-house events.-time

• Taught English and coached sports at summer camps.

Business Studies Teacher & High Performance Hockey Manager (Jan 2021 – Dec 2023)

• Blended academic teaching with elite sports management, teaching Business Studies and EMS.
• Head of Grade 8 Business Studies.
• Designed and implemented the High Performance Hockey strategy, focusing on player development and elite competition readiness.

Head of Physical Education Programme (Grade 8 – 11) (Jan 2018 – Dec 2023)

• Coordinated the whole Physical Education programme across multiple grade levels, ensuring a balanced, structured curriculum.
• Led and co-ordinated the PE staff, managing teaching allocations, lesson quality, and student assessment structures.

Boarding Housemaster (Knoll House) & Mentor (Jan 2018 – Dec 2023)

• Served as Boarding Housemaster in Knoll House, overseeing pastoral care, student well-being, and operational management within the residential school environment.
• Acted as a dedicated Mentor for students across Grades 9 – 11, guiding academic, personal, and character development.

Sports Coordinator & High Performance Hockey Manager (Jan 2019 – Jan 2021)

• Coordinated multi-sport schedules, transport, logistics, and fixtures for the College.
• Managed staff allocations for weekly sports codes and external tournaments.

Head of Hockey & Head of Water Polo (Sep 2017 – Jan 2019)

• Oversaw the sporting programmes, coaching structures, and competitive team selections for both the Hockey and Water Polo departments.

• Assisted the Director of Sport with the daily running and operational logistics of all sporting codes at Oakhill across both Prep and College.
• Headed up the Physical Education programme for Grade 4 – 7, coordinating the curriculum, lessons, and activities for the intermediate phase.
• Coached Water Polo, Cricket, Hockey, and Foundation Phase sport.
• Served as Master in Charge (MIC) of Water Polo, overseeing team selections, practices, and fixtures.
• Appointed as Provincial SWD Water Polo and Hockey Coach, and served as Vice-Chairperson of SWD Primary Schools Hockey.
• Managed the Oakhill Astro Turf facility, including scheduling, match prep, and maintenance.
