My work background started when I worked as a Draughtsman at MEB my local electricity supplier being there 12yrs. Moving through the company starting with the drawings in the office then going out on site recording the lay of electric cables, joints repairs and replacement and then updating the drawings manually in the office after site visits. Then progressed to actually looking after the gangs installing the cables HV and LV (high and low voltage) on sites new and old and upgrading jobs. Also getting involved with the use of directional drilling covering many areas in England.

Then I had 9yrs in a door manufacturing company starting on an assembly line working to a Team Leader then assistant Supervisor/Supervisor. Gaining skills in door design and fire door manufacturing.

And now I’m a DCT in the Gas industry for the past 14yrs and enjoying it.

In all my past jobs I’ve always had an hands on approach no task to small approach until that one occasion comes where you need help and you go find it.
