Conducted an in-depth analysis of the fertility preferences among women in India by investigating various factors, such as autonomy enjoyed by women and exposure to media, and developed a comprehensive regression model to uncover the complex relationship between the factors.

• Collected and prepared government data consisting of more than 60000 observations and 2500 variables
• Pre-processed the dataset and conducted hypothesis tests to find the influence of factors such as exposure to media, use of contraceptives on the fertility preference of women for another child
• Made a logit regression model on the relation of various factors with the target variable
• Corrected the model for multicollinearity and endogeneity errors, and interpreted data to give possible explanations for trends, patterns and causal links
• Generated report detailing research process, results and conclusions
