- Maintaining Good communication and relations with site management, staff and labor.
- Developing and maintaining good relationship with safety representatives and together proactively promoting safety work practices.
- Identifying safety training needs for site-based staff and organizing same with Project Manager and Training Department.
- Delivering site safety briefings, and toolbox talks.
- Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical construction activities with overall project plans.
- Managing resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient project execution within budget constraints.
- Overseeing mechanical construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Identifying and resolving issues and conflicts and addressing issues to prevent or eliminate any impact on project development.
- Review and verify that all mechanical installations meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Overseeing the testing and commissioning of mechanical systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Ensuring all project activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations, codes, and standards including obtaining necessary permits and certifications for mechanical projects.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, inspection records, and test reports.
- Relevant Experience & Career Summary
- Projects completed to date have varied from Ireland, UK and Mainland Europe which has allowed him develop a vast knowledge of work practices and specialist sub-contractors throughout Europe.
- Experience in working on complex projects involving many contractors and sub-contractors.
- Experience of working on restricted live sites where disturbance to occupiers is minimal
