In the scope of Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Traineeship, as a last grade student, I completed my 2 months (July 2023-August 2023) summer internship in the production department of Motovario, Italy.

At the end of my internship, I received a job offer for a full-time position:

• Completed 8 SMED projects by optimising bottlenecks and minimising non value added activities with Lean Production methodologies.
• Creating CAPEX reports to describe the budget and potential savings for the SMED projects.
• Implementing 5S system in the workshop.
• Creating standard production tables and graphs for the workshop.
• Communicating closely with safety, supply chain, quality and purchasing departments to synchronise overall production goals.
• Responsible for daily safety reports by assigning unsafe action and situation cases to the responsible people. Updating Hierarchy Pyramids daily.
• Responsible for Layered Process Audit (LPA) to follow manufacturing processes are effective and safe.
• Managing supplier relationships, ensuring reliable supply chains for maintenance and production materials. Creating purchasing requests and following the delivery schedule.
• Presenting current status of the projects and plan for the next steps, conveying this information to all levels of the senior management.

As a final year Industrial Engineering student, I completed my senior year project in the Quality Department of MOSI Textile Company.

The topic of the project is Applying a Quality Management and Statistical Process Control System in a Garment Manufacturing Company.

During this period I gained experience on the following point:

• Working in a Team
• Quality Control Charts
• ARENA Simulating Programme.
• AHP and Goal Programming

At the end of the Senior Project, Our paper presented at the International Symposium for Production Research 2023.

As a third year Industrial Engineering student, I completed my 2 months summer internship in the Supply Chain Department of VESTEL, Turkey.

• Worked on demand planning and supplier tracking of LCD televisions as a intern.
• This internship allowed me to apply the theoretical knowledge that I gained in studies to real life industry.
