Outline

As a I.T Engineer at Orange Business Services, I was responsible for managing the I.T environment and supporting end users.


Key Responsibilties

  • Managing threats and incidents in Microsoft Defender.
  • Manage end users accounts and privileges in Azure AD.
  • Software deployment in SCCM.
  • Patch management in Manage Engine.
  • ITAM: ordering peripherals, raising PO's, liaising with suppliers and receipting.
  • Maintaining and updating an asset spreadsheet with all of the organisations laptops.

Key Achievements

  • I played a pivotal role in delivering a "Exchange on-line" project, were we migrated the end user's email to MS 365 Exchange online. I was responsible for creating the migration schedule, creating a user guide that users could follow if they had issues and also providing support after the fact.
  • I played a pivotal role in our "Mac @ work" project where we integrated Mac devices into our environment.
  • I was the main point of contact for our "Outlook Mobile" project which involved setting up 120 users with the Outlook mobile app on their work phones.

EUC Engineer (Contract)

Outline

As a Junior EUC Engineer for MHRA, I was responsible for migrating end users from Windows 7 to Windows 11, replacing Lenovo YOGA 260 laptops to Surface 4 laptops for over 900+ users and supporting all MHRA users after the migration process.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deploying applications via SCCM.
  • Preparing laptops for deployment; setting up laptops with the necessary software configurations, including installing the operating system, applications and updates.
  • Updating group policy via Powershell.
  • Responding to user support requests and resolving technical issues.
  • Managing Microsoft 365 for Enterprise.
  • Keeping track of all laptops and associated accessories (e.g Chargers, Docking Stations, USB-C to HDMI cables)
  • Ensuring all the surface 4 laptops comply with organisational policies and industry regulations.
  • Collaborating with other IT staff such as Project Managers, Software Engineers, Cloud Infrastructure Engineers and Service Delivery Managers.
  • Generating reports related to laptop inventory, deployment progress, user feedback and other project milestones.
