- I completed three weeks of voluntary, unpaid childcare in Bali, Indonesia between the dates of the 7th of July 2024 to the 27th of July 2024
- In this role, I taught children aged 3-6 English, maths and other key early skills at the Akasa kindergarten in Tabanan, Bali
- This was hugely rewarding both on a personal level but also on a skill-based level as it enabled me to develop key teambuilding skills due to the fact I had to plan lessons with teachers and other volunteers as well as crucial problem-solving skills due to the fast-paced and unpredictable setting of a foreign kindergarten environment
- Furthermore, I taught my class every weekday separately on my own, meaning I was the main teacher, This allowed me to develop crucial independence skills.
