  • Working for British Telecom project which is one of the major service providers of fixed-line,Broadband and mobile services in UK,also it provides subscription television and IT services. Deployment & Support of the deliveries like major release or In-Life release. Coordinating with interfacing clients and BT managers for work. Representation of the assigned applications (E2E) in Different Forums (Service Management, Conference Calls, etc. Ensuring that all data fixes are reviewed by development team before execution on the LIVE servers. Bulk Processing/analyses of data. Setting Reports for BAU data requests. Automating daily checks by shell scripting. Actively manage, improve, monitor infrastructure including Backups and scalings. Data Integrity corrections to ensure services are aligned across all consumer components with third party suppliers.
  • Roles and Responsibilities
  • Infra Management: -

1. I have executed many activities in Linux servers like New Build deployments, Installation of various services, Server bounces, etc.

2. Migration of services from VDC to EC Platform wherein it includes all application and database service migration activities.

3. Monitoring the health checks of all servers proactively to avoid reactive issues.

  • Change Management: -

1. I have dealt with different change deployment activities. Many changes have been deployed by me as per application requirements. Taken part in the process to get approved the change from different platforms before deploying it on live application.

  • Fault/Incident Management: -

1. I have good experience on fault management, which has been raised by first line support of the application user.

2. As a member of the fault management team, we are supposed to analyses the various faults raised on our application.

3. We have to solve the fault before it violates its SLAs.

4. We proactively categorize various faults, to identify the major contributors of fault, to get the issue fixed, so we can reduce the faults on our application.

  • Service Improvement:

1. Setup XFB configuration for transferring files from one interface to another.

2. Discussing with business stakeholders regarding new requirements and changes.

3. Built Salesforce reports and dashboards for order monitoring.
