Design of a Magnetic Levitation Platform for the Demonstration of Low Thrust Propulsion Systems for Satellite Applications

  • Developed a design using the SOLIDWORKS CAD software for a measurement platform used for low thrust propulsion systems.
  • Worked with Finite Element Magnetic Modelling (FEMM) in order to create the magnetic levitation platform for the chosen design.
  • Achieved a measurement range from 10microNewton to 5milliNewton with an accuracy of +/-0.4microNewton.
