• Patient Observation: They observe patients for changes in physical or emotional condition and communicate any concerns to the healthcare team.
• Administrative Tasks: HCAs may also assist with administrative duties, such as updating patient records, ordering supplies, or ensuring patient rooms are clean and organized.
• Emotional Support: HCAs offer emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families, ensuring they feel cared for and comfortable during their hospital stay.
