- I currently work 2 shifts a week that fit in with my college work.
- Over an 8 hour shift, I work 30 minutes on and 30 minutes off. In the downtime, I complete daily cleaning, maintenance and operational tasks to assist with the running of the pool and leisure centre.
- As a lifeguard, I constantly monitor and observe people's behaviours and abilities in the pool and poolside, and maintain an awareness of all customers' safety and respond to any concerns.
- Complete monthly mandatory training to maintain First Aid and lifeguarding skills.
