Summary

I'm now into my 8th year of thermal insulating, through-out this time I have been working in the marine industry with knowledge of HnV insulating.

The main tasks have involved.

  • Measuring, drawing and manufacturing heat resistant jackets. Which then would be installed on pipework/ductwork or engine/exhaust systems on Naval,Super-yachts,fishing trawlers and transport ferries/cruise-ships.
  • Installation of fire retardant materials on bulkheads/deck heads and hulls of said ships. Finished with fabricating/installing metal cladding to protect used material.
  • Insulating pipelines to cool/maintain heat depending on specification, with a variety of finishes such as PIB,stucco/metal cladding and armaflex.

  • Measuring pipelines, engines and exhaust systems/valves to design/create and install heat proof jackets
  • Bulk-heads/Deck-heads removals/ re-insulated and installed

  • Minimised site risks by promptly reporting hazardous conditions to supervisor.
