My degree in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham allowed me to develop strong problem-solving and teamwork skills as well as learning a large array of programming languages. My experience in the service industry has allowed me to become skilled in customer interactions and time-sensitive problem solving. During my time at university, I was able to explore several areas of computing and took an interest in software development as well as UI design which I would like to pursue further.
Fitness Tracker, A mobile app developed on android studio which allows the user to track their exercises and set location-based reminders. This was made for my Mobile Device Programming module.
Prize Draw, A java-based program which takes in names and prize entries from csvs and randomly assigns names to prizes, displays them on a UI and stores a list of winners. This made for the annual draw at Ladybarn Social Club.
Find AR, A web application designed to allow the user to set location reminders for items such as key, wallets, medicine. The user can then use their camera to find their items by walking towards a 3D AR model. This was made for my Group Project module (includes a variety of languages such as javascript, svelte, and SQL).
