Aidan Cassidy

Recently, I have set up my own business in Personal Training at my own Gym. This is a relatively new project in which I do for my passion for health and fitness and helping others to reach their fitness goals.

I have always held a passion for Football and began playing at the age of 3. I played Professional Youth football, from the age of 11-16 and have represented Clyde FC, Partick Thistle FC, Morton Fc and Alloa FC at youth level.

I gained valuable life experience from these years of my life and taught me the true meaning of discipline. I also captained Alloa FC, which allowed me to be more confident and showcased my communication and leading qualities.

In December 2020, I signed my first professional contract with Clyde FC and made my professional debut in the SPFL League One. I am currently playing for GalaFairydean Rovers in the Scottish Lowland League.

My time playing professional football has developed one as I have experienced the hardships through being out of the team, injury and the overall adaptation of new environments with different people from different backgrounds.

My work ethic is unmatched and through training off the pitch and living a healthy lifestyle, I am constantly striving to improve.

From the age of 16 I have worked in the double glazing industry, and from my 5 years experience I have built a repertoire in this industry, which is useful for any job. I worked on weekends whilst being at school, which was transferred to 3 days a week during University and full time in the summer months. In this time, I have built up confidence and experience by handling customers which has allowed me to progress.

In my time as a Administrative Assistant, I would answer and direct calls, take payments and allocate them to accounting software's such as Sage and Xero. I am also trained to use DEXT. I would also log sales invoices into the system and file them according to their book number.

In the past 6 months, I have performed a number of roles. I am heavily involved in Job Profit Analysis and host regular meetings with colleagues to ensure that the company is as profitable as it can be.

I am also trained to use Window Designer and have learned to process jobs, which has allowed me to process to sales, where I regularly commute to potential clients to discuss requests and make sales.

In my experience, I have developed a number of skills and would describe my self as a confident team leader who has the ability to adapt to different situations, holding a constant scrutiny on myself to strive to achieve and learn more.
