I had many roles over the course of my time at the restaurant which included food running, hosting and helping out in the back. I spent the most time as a bartender which improved my talking skills with strangers and allowed me to develop my small talk. However, the most important skill I picked up at this job was time management. This included being early to every shift so I could prepare the bar as well as doing my job quickly so that I would not be overloaded with work.

I worked as a salesman over summer to earn some extra money and while the hours were long, being face to face to people and building rapport gave me skills that I still use today. This includes positive first impressions, patience and understanding what people want, which is useful in a variety of workplaces.
I taught my sisters friends and my sister for their GCSE chemistry and physics. I was happy when they all passed with some achieving high grades.
I started off as a glass washer and was volunteering as I was young and had no experience. They paid me after a month of volunteering and I stayed for 4 years which is why the time volunteered looks short. I,m a caring a person and I like to look after elderly and disabled people. When I go to India I look after my grandparents, and I thoroughly enjoyed doing that. I am a sincere and hardworking person.

I achieved good grades for my GCSE's which were all A-C with Math and English both being Level 8 [ A*-A]. For my A-levels I took Physics, Math and Chemistry in which I got BCC. I was captain of my Sunday league team which gave some insight in to how tricky it is to get people to listen until they respect you. I represented my school team in basketball and volleyball and we placed top 3 for both. I have a full UK driving license and currently looking for employment to buy my first car. I learned the cocktail menu at my old workplace within a week as I have always been a quick learner, and putting these skills into effective practice was difficult but I have learned a lot through my experiences.
I cared for my grandparents as they started to feel worse. They both died from cancer but they lived to 80, and while I was happy that I stayed with my grandfather alongside my grandmother while he was in bed rest, I was not able to do the same for her. I didn't understand much as I was young, but even then I was highly empathetic, and I understood that being there made the difference to them. I hope to transfer these skills in any work I do in the future, no matter what it is.
