As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant in the finance industry, my role is to learn the full recruitment process while helping financial professionals find the right job opportunities.

My main responsibilities include:

• Sourcing candidates – Using job boards, LinkedIn, and networking to connect with finance professionals.

• Screening & interviewing – Assessing candidates' skills, experience, and career goals to match them with suitable roles.

• Building client relationships – Understanding the hiring needs of financial firms and assisting in filling their vacancies.

• Market research – Staying up to date with industry trends, salary benchmarks, and hiring patterns.

• Managing admin tasks – Posting job ads, updating databases, and coordinating interviews.

• Managed a pool of 400 front-of-house staff, including e.g Waiters, bartenders, and baristas in Manchester's hospitality sector
• Coordinated key operational functions such as recruitment, on-boarding, bookings, payroll, and large-scale event check-ins
• Strengthened client relationships by addressing individual requests and delivering tailored staffing solutions
• Generated new business through proactive sales efforts, including cold calling and leveraging the company database
• Balanced the demands of 360-degree recruitment, workforce management, and business development in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

• While working under the previous ownership, I was hired by the new owners to act as a link between them and the hotel team during a 6-month transition period of operational changes
• Served as the primary point of contact to ease staff concerns and address uncertainties surrounding operational changes within the hotel

• Supervised and implemented operational adjustments to meet the new owners' requirements
