Committed and enthusiastic individual who is eager to take on a new role and challenge within Cross Keys Homes. I am passionate about the work that I do and the residents that I support and during my time with the company I have consistently delivered a high standard of work which has been demonstrated by my performance ratings each year.
Working within the supported housing team within Cross Keys Homes, I manage a site which has a mixture of temporary accommodation and general needs properties. My role is a varied one and no two days are the same. The support I give to the homeless residents is dependent on their needs, this can include benefits, health, and debts. Completing the weekly rent checks on the temporary accommodation and chase any arrears where needed and any follow up action if required.
The role of the specialist work coach was to support the most vulnerable claimants with their Universal Credit and Legacy benefit claims. The support varied depending on the clients circumstances, I had to deal with many sensitive cases which included domestic violence, mental health, prison leavers and care leavers. The aim was to make sure that they received their first payment in full on time. This was done by the great working relationships I had with the external partners such as housing, social services and health services.

When I am not at work I love to plan and go on holidays with my family. We enjoy our European road trips but not sure how much longer we can do these as our son is a giant and at 14 his legs are getting too long for the back of the car!!
