• Communicate the tasks that are required to be completed, to the production Holon Leader within the area of responsibility, on a daily basis.
• To monitor the progress of orders to ensure delivery promises are maintained.
• To register Production delays into the AS400 and report back to Sales (Where appropriate).
• Manage and maintain basic data in the AS400 to allow accurate lead times to the customer while maintaining up to date product assembly times and Product costing’s.
• To hold regular production reviews with the production Holon Leaders within the area of responsibility to discuss and resolve production issues.
• Schedule and plan the resources and materials with the production Holon Leader within area of responsibility.
• To co-ordinate with other departments and prioritise as necessary to ensure the best possible service to the customer.
• To identify line-side stock requirements. Investigate and resolve component shortages and make proposals for stock holding to achieve the production schedule and/or Shikomi.
• To promote continuous improvement in Production Planning and Production assembly.
• To monitor each project's progress to ensure it's following the schedule.
• Receive customer schedule & update internal ERP system, ensuring that customer demand dates are met.
• Operate Company stock planning system to ensure orders are placed to meet demand at all times.
• Proactively monitor forward supply plans and highlight potential supply shortfalls in sufficient time to take contingency action and inform direct manager of any supply issues.
• Monitor the delivery of orders placed to ensure that the arrival date is as expected. Take action if the transit of the goods is not meeting the expected target.
• Manage inventory levels considering customer’s needs, consignment stocks and factory performance.
• Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements.
• Pricing analysis and validation to align with commercial contracts and agreements.
• New product pricing analysis to ensure correct charge rate.
