- My skill set that I had acquired over many years, whilst in my previous job enabled me to transfer and adapt to working within Aldi very smoothly. At Aldi the work ethic revolves around team work efficiency and adapting the way I work from day to day, that best suits the customers we serve. My roles and skills used are varied and include stock control and loss prevention, replenishment, merchandising and re-merchandising, warehouse control and serving our customers at the till whilst maintaining an alertness to stock theft with security. Keeping a good level of fitness is always required, as I am on my feet most of my shift and there is always much lifting required all of which I enjoy.

- Responsibilities and Achievements
- I began working on the night shift team, replenishing the store overnight whilst studying at Hertfordshire University. After graduation, I continued to work on the night shift for approximately 6 months then moved into a supervisor role for about 1 year. I then moved back to night shift and continued my career at Sainsbury's and became the stores night shift Team Leader. Whilst at Sainsbury's my knowledge of how a fast paced leading supermarket could provide a high quality service, that put its customers first increased. As the Team Leader on shift, I used this knowledge to enable my team to provide an excellent shop for its customers each day with effective training, coaching and helping all colleagues understand what their roll within the team entailed. Duties on shift involved, team management, store and warehouse security whilst the store was open and throughout the night shift, scheduling shift and shop replenishment planning, training, coaching and guidance, replenishing and warehousing stock, loading and unloading vehicles and lorries, communications and arranging handovers and meetings with other store departments, contacting delivery depots via online systems and phone and working with other store management to hand over the store at the end of a completed shift.

Working at the Bank involved high accuracy and good communication skills whilst working within a fast paced team.

I also was part of the team that set up and managed the new and extensive parts and customer information system database, on the AFN Porsche IT Systems when the department moved over to updated systems.
