I'm a Foundation doctor working in North West England with career interests in histopathology, particularly in paediatric and perinatal pathology. I'm actively seeking any opportunities to further my clinical skills in this field. I am actively involved in creating and delivering innovative educational resources via webinars, conferences and websites with podcasts which have received widely positive feedback. I have practical experience working with national organizations developing resources and outreach programmes for peers and co-ordinating collaboration opportunities particularly for colleagues from widening participation backgrounds.

• Spearheaded research on evaluating tools to measure extraneous cognitive load (ECL) applying the framework of cognitive load theory to identify if ECL affected learner outcomes and can be managed to promote learning.
• Conducted a scoping review following Arksey and O’Malley’s guidelines , evaluating tools in the literature to measure extraneous cognitive load and if a widely accepted tool existed. Review resulted in identification of a well-established measure for ECL as a universal measure of ECL
