I provide care to the patients within the working environment at the hospital to which I am assigned by NES Healthcare throughout the period of duty.

I liaise with the named Consultant on the findings and initiate prescribing of medications as advised.
I regularly monitor patients’ responses to prescribed treatment, evaluate the progress of patients and adjust medication as necessary.
I co-ordinate treatment procedures between nursing staff and the consultant and supervise day to day medication.
I complete discharge documentation to the general practitioner and relevant community.
I deal with clinical emergencies, whether physical or psychiatric as they arise and I am also lead the resuscitation team.
I participate in ward rounds and clinical review meetings as requested.
I maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
I Participate in patients’ education programmes where and as appropriate.
